Accepted Payments

*Money Orders: Allows items to ship quickly after its arrival
*Checks and eChecks: These are fine, but will hold shipping by 7-10 days to clear (or longer if we're unable to deposit it immediately)
*Cash: Not recommended, but accepted, sent at your own risk. Items would ship on our next shipping day after payment arrival
*Paypal: PREFERRED METHOD - Credit cards (and any other Paypal funding source) are accepted through Paypal.com. We currently do not take credit card information directly. If you're not yet registered with Paypal, click here to learn more and sign up. Items are shipped on our next shipping day after a Paypal payment

Buy/Trade Policy

*We are always looking to buy or trade for quality G1 Transformers/Accessories and vintage Star Wars, and sometimes quality sports rookie cards or Magic cards. We offer around 60% of our resell price for most items - more for popular items, and less for items that are slow movers or that we have enough of in stock already. Our end of the deal (money or trade) is sent out after the items arrive and are approved of. Please be sure you are okay with the above terms before offering items. Email order@FortMax.com if you have items to offer.

Currency

*All quoted prices are in U.S.$, payment must also be in the form of U.S. dollars

Holding Policy

*Items are put on hold after an order has been agreed on to allow time for the payment to arrive. These are held for a maximum time of 10 days for people within the U.S., and up to 14 days for International orders. After the time expires, items would be returned to inventory. Failure to pay by the due date could result in a reduced holding time for future purchases.
*We realize that payments can get lost, misdirected, or delayed in the mail- especially internationally. We may extend the holding time a little if there is reason to believe that this is the case. However, I cannot take responsibility for the mail service and items on hold will return to inventory after the time extension if payment still hasn't arrived. The buyer would be contacted immediately to discuss options for completing the deal if payment arrived after that.
*We will consider payment plans or related things on a case by case basis (useful if you are low on funds but wish to make sure you get some items you want, and/or to combine purchases to be shipped together). In most instances, partial payments could be returned or used towards different items for a 15% fee. Items would be shipped after being fully paid for.

Lost Payments or Packages

*It is extremely unfortunate when this happens. It is VERY rare, but it can occur. FortMax.com, however, assumes absolutely no responsiblity for losses. If we do not receive a payment or if an uninsured package shipped to us -- or by us -- does not arrive at the proper destination, it is completely at the customer's expense. We highly recommend that insurance be used for any purchase/payment that you cannot afford to lose.
*The quoted shipping prices do NOT include insurance or tracking unless otherwise stated, so if you want it, please make sure to ask for it and pay for the extra cost. It generally costs $2-$4 within the U.S., but could be $3-$20 internationally (requires parcel post shipping instead of the cheaper letter post service; available to most, but not all, areas).
*We will assist you with an insurance claim if that becomes the case, but any compensation comes from the insurerer (i.e. post office), and not us.

Ordering

*To order, simply click the "Add to Cart" image below the description of the items you would like. You can then continue shopping and complete checkout when ready. A rough domestic shipping estimate is provided to you. Once you submit your order, we will verify item availability as well as make sure the shipping price is accurate. If you would rather not use the shopping cart, feel free to use the "Contact Us" link on the left-hand side of the main page or email your order to order@FortMax.com . A back-up email address is also available if you think we may not have received your order, at fortmax_net@hotmail.com, as well). A response with your complete order details will likely be sent to you within a couple of hours, and rarely would it take more than 24 hours. That response will contain the information you will need to complete the transaction.

Return Policy

*All items are graded and described to the best of our ability. However, it is inevitable that problems will be missed on occasion. In this event, if we don't have a replacement available, we will offer an amount of credit for what was charged + what it costs to return it. For example, if an item that was $10 + $3 shipping ($13), then the credit could be $13 + $3 to ship it back to us = $16. The credit will only be available once the item has been returned and shipping will still be charged (since credit was given towards that). The only other reason accepted for a return is if an item was damaged because of faulty packaging. If there is reason to believe that a false claim is being made, then we reserve the right to refuse a return.
*Other Returns/Refunds/Exchanges can typically be granted minus the shipping and a 15% service charge. Items MUST be in the same condition that they were sent, or no refund will be granted.

Shipping

*Items are shipped through the United States Postal Service. Most orders are sent Priority mail, which takes about 3 days. Small or light orders are sent 1st class, which can take 4-7 days from the time it is sent. International orders are shipped via 7-10 day Air Mail.
*CUSTOMS FORMS: We are required to fill out customs forms on international orders. These forms will be marked appropriately based on what is purchased, please don't tell us how you would like it filled out. If an item is insured, the package must be marked at full value in order to be able to recover the full value in the event a claim is needed.
*Shipping costs are estimated and added to the order subtotal price. We have a minimum shipping charge of $3, and it is usually between $3 to $8 for the majority of orders. Internationally, it is often $5-$25.
*We do not do COD's, but other options such as insurance or a tracking number are fine, at the buyer's expense. We take no responsibility for lost or damaged shipments beyond what was insured. Insurance is available for most countries, but not all. Visit the USPS website for rates, at http://www.usps.com.
*All of our outgoing shipments are sent only after the payment or trade arrives here. (See Accepted Payments for order shipment time)
